When you need a creative partner…
With over 16 years of experience as a senior designer at Scotch & Soda, I have learned to empathize with the wishes and taste of the customer and to convert these wishes into designs that make the customer happy. Developing concepts, making moodboards and colour combinations, developing prints and fabrics, creating the total picture, furnishing showrooms and styling sets for photo shoots, decorating fairs and sales presentations, brainstorming creatively with colleagues and fulfilling the role of advisor, are skills I have developed and trained over the past 16 years.
Nowadays I put my abundance of design experience and love into the field of interior and exterior design. For me, interior design goes beyond just putting some new furniture in a space. The best thing is, of course, to make the most of the possibilities a space has to offer. This could mean that a layout needs to be adjusted. When I walk into a space, I always immediately see the possibilities. I would be very happy to advise you on how your space will work best to suit your wishes. The interplay between inside and outside is very important to me, which is why, when desired, I usually include the outside of the building and the space around it in my advice and design.
The experience in construction and renovation that I have gained in recent years whilst working on project “Casa Vinkeveños” has provided me with valuable knowledge that I would like to share with you. Determining a new layout, (re)designing a building inside and out, purchasing and arranging the right products and materials, managing the construction process and supervising professionals, but also carrying out “hands on” construction work are things that I have mastered over the past 4 years. The before and after photos tell the story best!
“Everything starts with a good (visual) plan, after that it is a matter of execution, always with the plan as the end result in mind. Personal interior advice certainly pays for itself, both in money and in time. Together we will turn this into an inspiring process in which I will surprise you again and again with my fresh eye on your wishes.”
Perhaps you are looking for advice on a somewhat smaller-scale. For example, how you can bring your current furniture up to date by adding some new furniture, a fresh new coat of paint on the walls or creating a new layout. In case you have other “smaller” questions or you just need a creative sparring partner, feel free to contact me as well. With some smart tricks and tips we will solve your interior questions together.
Situated in Vinkeveen, at the lakeside, stands Casa Vinkeveños. Casa Vinkeveños is a total concept property. The complete interior, layout and exterior has been remodelled, the garden and boathouse were part of this total concept as well. Everything had to be in harmony, keeping the “everyday a holiday” motto in mind throughout the entire process.
The sunny residence embodies my love for natural lighting and simplicity. The panoramic lake views framed in floor-to-ceiling windows provide an ideal backdrop for the open concept interior, creating a seamless transition between the inside and out. Natural materials such as wood, natural stone, wool, leather and linen in combination with concrete floors, form a classic timeless base for a place where you are surrounded by modern comfortable furniture, personal accessories and vintage finds.
Casa Vinkeveños functions as an office and as a source of inspiration for future projects. If you like the idea of making your space feel like “everyday a holiday”, let’s make a plan!
Casa Vinkeveños can in many cases realize the entire project, together with a network of specialists.
